Located on the roof of the newly constructed Interlock building in West Midtown, Rooftop L.O.A is the newest venue by the Slater Hospitality team, owners of the rooftop at Ponce City Market. With views of the city, Rooftop L.O.A. (Leave of Absence) is Atlanta’s newest spot for dining, socializing, private events, and poolside partying.
The Guest Relations Manager is a creative leader of the Guest Relations team who leverages research and creativity in the pursuit of delivering a remarkable LOA experience. They are passionate about team development and offering an amazing guest experience. The Guest Relations Manager reports to the Pool General Manager and works closely with the Service Manager and Host Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Leverage guest research, alongside the Host Manager, to curate unique and personalized experiences for Rooftop LOA guests.
- Proactively communicate with Rooftop LOA guests prior to, during and after their experience at Rooftop LOA.
- Creatively establish means of extending the guest experience at Rooftop LOA beyond the physical space.
- Support the operations and development of the entire Guest Services team in day to day functions.
- Collaborate with the entire Rooftop LOA management team to develop a remarkable dining experience.
- Lead a culture of ownership and accountability within the Guest Services team.
- Schedule the Guest Services team.
- Ensure Slater hospitality values and standards are implemented and maintained.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience as a Concierge, Maître D, or Lead Host in an elevated setting.
- Experience managing reservation systems.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced telephone skills.
- Experience using Adobe Suite, such as In Design preferred.
- Calligraphy or Art training a plus.
About Rooftop L.O.A.
Rooftop LOA (Leave of Absence), a Slater Hospitality concept, is the perfect spot for dining, socializing, private events, and poolside partying with views of the Atlanta skyline. Our 38,000 square foot rooftop consist of four areas including a full-service restaurant, a 1200 square foot resort style pool, an outdoor bar and gathering space, and a 150-person covered event pavilion. This adults-only rooftop with capacity for 1000 people is designed to be a sophisticated escape from the hustle and bustle of the Westside below. The intention for LOA is that guests feel like they are on vacation the moment they check in on the ground floor, before ever heading up to the roof. Once there, we want them to leave their world behind.
